Re: Need Cake Help

I don't know where you're located, but my mom ordered a tiered one from A&G Bake Shop in Dix Hills/Huntington.

www.agbakeshop.com - (631) 271-3450

I think they have a bigger Babylon location as well. They did my college graduation cake in 2007 which was a fondant cake. Worth a call!

Also, I have a friend who does all kinds of fondant cakes. If you have FB her name is Susie Askinazy and she is located in Searingtown/Albertson. Below is her fan page:

If you do contact her, tell her I sent you!

I tried the fillings and liked them I hate buttercream so that was yucky to me lol but I got chocolate dobash with chocolate cake and the dobash was yummy.

Re: Need Cake Help

Hey! Check out www.cakesconfidential.com basically you can have a masterpeice cake for a fraction of the cost. The cakes are decorated with real fondant and gum paste ect. except that only the bottom teir is made out of real cake for the cake cutting ceremony. The display cake is then taken back to the kitchen and guests are served fresh sheet cake with matching icing. They have a showroom in NYC. I don't know if they custom design a rental but It's definatley a designer cake on a budget and they also allow you to use a sheet cake from elsewhere if your not happy with thier tasting. Best of luck =) hope this helps.
