need centerpiece help

ok so i am using glass vases that i got at ACmoore. They are of medium height. I need good ideas especially pics of ways to spruce it up. I am filling them with water and gems and putting fish in them. Is there anyway I can put the vase on top of something?? i dont know any ideas will help. I love the vases but feel they might look lost on the tables.

Re: need centerpiece help

I am making my own centerpieces but I really didn't know what to put them on as well. They are kind of small and don't want them to seem lost on the table. I am putting the whole thing on an oversize napkins that match my table napkins. I happened to get an extra dozen with my order and they were bigger. I hope that helps- a nice piece of fabric that matches your theme would look really nice and fresh.

<-------There is pic of my centerpiece(not on the oversize napkin).

Re: need centerpiece help

I like the suggestion of suing fabric kind of as a runner under the CP. Another suggestion would be to put beach grass and shells around the CP.

Re: need centerpiece help

I think table runners are a great idea. It will definitely keep your vases from getting lost. Something in a bright color and then maybe some candles in clear votive holders around the vase--the light should reflect off the vase and make it look really pretty.

There are also some great ideas in the Knot's Centerpiece Bio
