need comfort!

Our RSVP date is tomorrow. Our minimum is 75 people. We got a few new RSVPs back this weekend (both my mail and phone) and we are only at 61 people INCLUDING ME AND FH. At only 3 weeks before the wedding, there is no one else we can really start inviting. I still need to hear back from some work people and a few random friends and family friends, but even if everyone says yes we still barely hit our minimum (and of course not everyone is going to say yes).

Some people had obvious good excuses (recent family death, a girl who turns out is due 3 days after our wedding, someone got injured and can't fly up here, etc.). Others just totally make no sense.

did you call everyone who hasnt RSVPed yet? Is there any friends or other coworkers you can invite?

Ugh im sorry!!!

Did you talk to your RH? I have heard stories of people getting all sorts of extras in this situation.

Try not to worry, all that matters is that the two of you have the most amazing day!

We have invited everyone that makes sense to invite. All friends, all family friends, co-workers, etc. We both have really small families and since we went to school together, we have a lot of the same friends so that cut down the friend list a lot. I like the idea of having a small wedding but I am going to be paying probably close to $1500 for seats I cannot fill.

call whoever u can and try to get an answer..ud be surprised by how many people forget even close friends...and even if u dont hit the number i know it sux but u will still be around many people who love and care bout u and fh and u guys will have an awesome wedding
