Need computer help

somehow fh got the homepage changed on him... he keeps trying to switch it back to espn.com... and it keeps switching back on him, and now were getting alot of pop ups too!

how do we fix it?

If you're using Internet Explorer, go to:

-Tools
-Internet Options
-General
-type in the homepage address and hit Apply

What home page is it switching to? My sister got a virus last week that is spread through AIM profiles, and it switched her home page too. Press control+alt+delete and see if there is a program named bargain (or having to do with bargain) running, if there is, close it, and delete it. You might also try downloading Adaware, it really helps against pop ups and spy ware.

If you need a pop up blocker, goto

www.google.com

Click on tools....and then download the tool bar.

you also need to go to

Lavasoft
and download The freeware version of Ad-aware.

This program will remove any cookies that all the popups might of installed on your pc. You need to update this program and run it every few days.....
