I don't know if you want specialty cut out cookies, but if you want inexpensive and quick, you can do what I did with black and white cookies. See this post:

The mini black and whites were only $36 for 96 cookies (and they are yummy!).

Re: need cookie help

i went to michaels and got a heart shape cookie cutter, target had these clear bags big enough for them, and I'm making sugar cookies from scrath, it works out to be cheaper... we are doing a donation to the lung and heart transplant in honor of my mom..
I'm sure I will be kicking my self in the @ss 2 weeks before trying to make 150 cookies and frost them, but oh well, I did a trial run to see if I could even do this well and they came out great!

I was going to do the same thing. I planned on doing a donation to St. Jude's and then I was going to make cookies. We'll as the day got closer I was like OMG I have to bake cookies for over 200 guest so I decided instead of baking I bought lavender (since that was my color) cancer bracelets for each guest. They were $1 each and probably less money than I would have spent if I baked the cookies, because knowing me I would have burnt a couple of batches

Re: need cookie help

ok so my outcome after looking at all of these websites of the cookies, i found those huge rainbow lollypops (like they have in disney) and we are just doing those and not doing donations, i figured i always make donations which is great but i couldn't afford to make a nice donation and do favors so to brighten up my all white tables i figured the rainbow lollys would be a nice touch.
now i hope they get here on time lol
