I caught a cold (arghhhhhh, hate Summer Colds!) from FH (that bum!)... and I'm heading out to Vegas for my bachelorette party soon (gr88, just gr888!)... does anyone know what would knock this cold out faster than Mike Tyson was knocked down this weekend?

Hello My Dear!!! OK!!!
My favorite is Robitussin. I always shake after swallowing it because it is really nasty but it works!!! So sorry you are sicky!!

Heeyyyyy! I like Robitussin, too, but for some reason it takes a while for me (like a week, to shake it off). I need something that will have been GOOD by Thursday. Didn't help that I was outside playing softball when it decided to pour 3x on Sat!
Btw, how was the makeup/outbacks outing?

My wonder drug is always Thera flu. Get the sever cold and couch (make sure to get non-drowsy for day time and nite time for night). The stuff works wonders! IT is a little nasty though so I alwys use 2 tsp of honey I have only used the lemon flavor but the fruity ones might taste a little better. I think the heat really makes me feel better too.

Call your dr and get a perscriptin for Allegra-D. It's a decongestatnt that should dry out everything and get rid of your cough (probably a post nasal drip). It works really well!
In addition take VitaminC, echinacea and try steaming yourself (sit in the bathroom with the door closed and all the hot water running - the steam will help clear your sinuses.

If it is a cold try ZICAM or Cold Ease. It will shorten the duration and severity...it is all natural and will not interact w/ most other cold med (that does not contain zinc). Also find a decongestant w/ an antihistamine (that will take care of the watery eyes and runny nose). My personal favs are Drixoral and Tylenol Cold (night time formula though, because it has an antihistamine in it). Tylenol Cold Night Time Complete Formula has meds for sore throat. coughing, nasal congestion, and runny nose. Hot herbal Tea is good too...also gargle w/ salt water. I get colds a lot, can't you tell??? Feel better!!!

Actually, I would suggest Cold Ease over Zicam. I just went on the internet to get a pic of the product and came accross a lawsuit that they have that people are loosing their sense of smell after using it. Nevr happened to me, but Cold ease is better then
