I'm in queens too, we're taking lessons at the great neck arts center. We started last september but this semester started last week so if you sign up now you only missed on week. It's not individual lessons but it is a small class.

I like it and we've learned a lot, google the great neck arts center, a phone # should come up. You can also download a list of classes from their website, ours is called social dance for adults

i'm live in queens and took dance classes in the city with bovard ( i think they're a vendor here) i think i paid 250 for 6 lessons or something like that

I found Diane online through Craiglist DH and I have went 2x already and she is awesome we already are DANCING... Also she charges 300 for 10 lessons....
