FH and I would like to take dance lessons before the wedding. We have had the intro lesson at Arthur Murrey Dance studio and like it, but its a bit expensive.
Does anyone have any information on the adult education programs in suffolk? I live in the sound beach area. I haven't been able to find the info anywhere to see if they are offering any dance classes this year.
Any other suggestions?

I took lessons at a place called Remember When Dance Studios. They're in Smithtown/St. James.
At the time I took the lessons it was 55.00 an hour for us as a couple. We only took three lessons and had a GREAT first dance. You bring in your wedding song, and they'll choreograph a dance for it!
You don't have to sign a contract either and just pay as you go!
Arthur Murray was the PITTS. We had a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend them at all.
I am in the Smithtown District and I am going to take lessons there. I don't know if that is too far for you, but it is only $46 for 8 two hour sessions (out of district it is $53). I have a feeling it will be more 'fun' than 'serious' lessons! Here is the link to the fall class, I am going to sign up in the spring and that bulletin didn't come out yet. Adult Ed in the Middle Country School District has ballroom dancing. It's like $35 for 6 weeks or so.
