My girlfriend is getting married on Sunday the 10th of October and she still does not have a makeup artist or a hair person - anyone have any recommendation for BROOKLYN?
I don't know if she would still be available, but call Jillian from Gorgeous Faces. I used her on my wedding day and loved her. She used to live in Bklyn and knows it well - she may travel there for you.
I know concept elite on avenue U (it's near the mall) does a good job for hair and makeup.
I know of a great person who has her own shop in Bay ridge Bklyn on I think 3rd ave and 80 something street. Her name is Donna Avvento. She is a close friend of the families and her work is great. I'm even using her for my own wedding. Her work includes the runner up for Ms. Universe. I highyl recommend her. You wouldn't believe her before and after pics that she has.
