Re: NEED DISHES FOR X-MAS!!! HELP
One year i went to target and got these very nice white dishes (it was a set of 6 and it came with 6 big plates, 6 bowls, 6 little bowls, coffe mugs, cake plates and one large server plate..)
The set was like 12.99 and i bought 2 of them.. I would have spent that much in paper anyway
ohhh and it also came with napkin rings...

Do you have 14 dinner plates? I don't think it matters if they don't match if you are not looking to spend $$. If not, could you borrow from someone?

If you wanted to go with holiday plates, I was at the Pfaltzgraff outlet not that long ago and they had a discontinued pattern of christmas plates...it was 4 plates, 4 saucers and 4 cup for $10. Also Kitchen etc had a set I think it was $20 for service for 8 with snowmen on it!

Last year, in a pinch, I bought a couple of 16 piece holiday dinnerware sets from KMart. Take a look at their website, they have a couple of cute ones for 19.99, plus 20% off.

Why don't you go to Walgreen's they were having a sale on x-mas dishes or try National Wholesale Liquidators.. I saw a whole bunch there..

I think Pier One might have nice ones on sale...and there was a 20% coupon on here a few days ago...other than that - I would get a set at Target or K-mart - they have nice things sometimes!

I'd go with Target, K-mart, Wal-Mart and I think I saw a set at Macy's. Or try the close out places like Odd Job - just make sure to wash them really good.

Macy's has a really nice set by Pfaltzgraff (they're on our registry) called Winterberry. They're 60% off right now!! And they weren't pricey to begin with. I'm thinking of buying them while they're on sale.

I love that Winterberry Pattern! I amy get them myself. A few years ago I found some of the accessories at Odd Job of all places.

I am so lazy!!! I wouldn't want to be botherd with having to wash all of that stuff. I would go out and buy the 'nice' plastic plates. Clean up is so much easier! LOL.

Re: NEED DISHES FOR X-MAS!!! HELP
CVS has nice ones that are not that expensive. I have an aunt who usually only orders from Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrell and Williams Sonoma.
This Thanksgiving she used her new 'Holiday Dishes'...which everyone was shocked to realize they came from CVS.
