Help! So far my first choices for both make up and dj were both booked for my date (which is still 399 days away...I'm very impressed with others' planning already).
Anyway... wanted Music by Michael for our dj, but he's booked. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone similar?!?

I just had the best experience with In the Mix. I jsut reviewed them on the brides review board. They get my vote!

We just had Mr. Entertainment for our DJ at our engagement party at the FoX Hollow.
He was great... his name is Michael Rosselli- I beleive he has a website under his name.
Def. check him out!

High Voltage is the only way to go. Vinny is the best person to deal with.

I booked with Music by Michael, but Spin Around Sound was my second choice. I really liked them as well.
ETA: Sorry, I just recommended Tommy's tunes because I like them, I honestly don't know if they're like music by michael...sorry about that

We're using Variety DJs. We were really impressed with them. They can taylor it to your style, either laid back or getting people motivated... whatever You decide... Check them out.

We booked Top Hat Enterntainment in Ronkonkoma. Bob Loggia (the DJ) is great. He gave us a great price and personalized a package for us. I would recommend him highly.

We used Spin Around Sound. They were not in ure face at all... In fact I don't think I heard them say to get up one time... but the dance floor was packed all night

I also would recommend HI-Energy they are a vendor on the boards. Ralph is great, he has done all our family parties and weddings.

Vinny and his guys did an excellent job at our wedding, our guests are still raving how they kept the partying moving!
We HIGHLY recommend them!
