Hi girls. Once again we desperately need your help. Ok, so I am the drama queen.
Here it goes:
Last night we went dress shopping for my sister. She is getting married January 18th, 2004. So we are getting pretty close, right. So we went to the Bridal Suite of Bayshore, we for the last year, 5 of our closest friends have gotten their dresses. My sister found the 'one'! :) However, it is out of her price range. The dress is $1,200. She was looking for like $700-800. Becuase of everything else they add on top of it, alterations, etc.
So here is my question. Would we be able to find this dress somewhere else for less (a lot less?). It is a Maggie Sottoro, and the style is Daniella.
If anyone can help us, it would be soo appreciated! My poor sister wanted to cry I felt so bad for her. You know when you find the one, but you can't afford it. I really wanted to cry for her, I think the salesgirls did too. They even tried to work iwth her but it was still too much. So please, help us!

I know that Adriennes (sp) in Islip carries Maggies they were very helpful. Paradise Bridal is where I got my dress (not a Maggie) but they carry Maggies. Did you do a search on Maggie website for store locations? I did find that certian Bridal salons have different prices for the same dress!

you could try online places like netbride.com or discountbridalservice.com. they can typically find any dress and get it to you for less.

My friend bought this Maggie Sottero dress for $600 at RK Bridal. They do alterations but if your sister is on the budget she should look for a less expensive seamstress

I got my gown & all my girls gowns off netbride.com. They were wonderful & saved me quite a bit of money! I definitly suggest visiting there site & requesting an online quote(it costs you nothing, and at least you'll know if they could get & how much it would be).

Its probably also worth watching ebay...
Or... Perhaps you and a few other family members could chip in and make up the difference as her wedding gift!
try gownsales.com they are in suffolk and i was quoted over 70.00 less for bm gowns. you can call them or e-mail them the style info and they'll give you a quote. i don't think you pay shipping - just tax.

Try the commack wedding center- they will have a better price. I tried that dress therem but don;t remeber the price. I think it was less, and they will work with you.

I called and I can't believe the price they gave me.! Less than any other store we called. But where would we go for alterations??
