Need Family Photo Advice - Little Long

Ok I will try to keep this short. Dad passed away when I was 19. Shortly after that my mom stopped talking to her sisters and brother they therefore cut out of their lives. My mom passed away 2 years ago and her family came to the funeral. I am inviting my mom's family whom I have tried to build some sort of relationship with but have been unsuccessful. Because of the fact that both my parents are deceased I want to keep some form of relationship because I want my future kids to have family. I am doing a family photo with my dad's side of the family and of course FH's family but should I bother doing one with my mom's family? We dont even know if they will come and FH says heck no because of other drama that went down after my mom passed but I kind of feel I should.

Opinions please.

IMO, yes, I would do one.

They're still family...and it's just one photo...doesn't mean that you NEED to put it in your album, but if you do ever have a good relationship with them - and it sounds like you do want that - you'll regret having not taken those pics when you had the chance.

thats a tough question.. I think its nice to do a photo why not.. I know there may be some fighting goin on with them but life is short and its nice to have memories regardless. JMO. :)

I would just do it, it takes 2 minutes and who knows down the road you could regret not doing it.
