I'm going shopping tomorrow for an outfit to wear to my friend's wedding. It's in early May and starts at 4pm. I am so bad at this and don't even know where to start.
The wedding is pretty informal (about 30 guests but the location is quite exquisite). The bride is wearing an informal dress and the groom is just wearing a suit. What type of outfit should I look for??? Short dress? Long dress? A skirt and cute top? Open-toe shoes? Sandals? Heels w/ panty-hose?
I know some of you ladies are much more fashion-oriented than me! HELP!

Im not claiming to be a fashion expert..but here are my thoughts, since it will be an evening reception but a more casual than your average wedding, if you wear a long dress..make it flowy, not an evening gown, but you could always wear a cute cocktail type dress and if it was short it could be dressier..does that make sense? Hope thsi helps and have FUN shpping!!!!

I'd wear a short dress, and depending on the weather, open toe shoes (without pantyhose, I hate open toe shoes with pantyhose!) Or if it's chilly sling back or open back shoes with pantyhose.

Since I know you and think I would be able to 'picture' you in a dress, I would say a long dress ( for elegance) but simple and probably sandals( or open toed) for May, it will be warm inside, you'll not be outside too long....better start shopping, dresses( for me anyway) are so hard to find!
