Need Gift help for my boss

Her b-day is Thursday and I would like to get her something. She's very cool even though she's very senior at the firm.

Last year, I was only with the firm 6 months and I gave her a basket from Bath & Body works. Another person gave her a spa cert from Elizabeth Arden which she is finally using the day after her b-day this year.

She's got money, stuff..etc..

I just don't know what to get her. She does wear wraps and scarves and that could be really nice but I would feel like no matter how nice it was, I wouldn't be nice enough.

Work is her hobby so I was thinking about something that would get her away from it. Maybe a cooking class or photography class. She likes both..

She also loves her Pugs..

So now, I've painted the pic..can anyone help?

if so, maybe you can all chip in for something great like an iPod.

she's got an ipod. I'm her asst..she has a ton of direct reports and they don't know it's her b-day and she doesn't want anyone to know.

how about a cute outfit or accessory for her pugs... there is a pet store down in port jeff village that has all sorts of things like that...

that would be too cute..she would love something for her house too..she has a historic house in Hoboken. I just don't know what..

Well you did mention the hats and scarves. Even though you don't think that they will be good enough, personal things like that always mean the most. Get her a nice set from a store. I mixed and matched a Scarf, Hat, and Glove set from Lord and Taylor for an attorney/client/friend of mine (yes strange relationship we share) and she loves it. She still raves how it is one of the best presents she ever got.

i agree - that store is great!

OR - you can always do a GC for dinner too
