We have our nieces and nephews in the wedding party (ages 5 - 16) and we are getting them Swatch watches. Maybe not the 5 year old...but the rest will love them. Adults, I was going to get my MOH something engraved from Tiffany's - what about a keyring for the men? They have some really nice ones there for about $50. Or here's another idea - we are going to get our BM the coat of arms for his family, hand painted and framed. I got one for my fiance and it is really nice. I know what she feels like and believe me, I didn't want my in-laws on mine either, but you know what? It doesn't hurt anyone and the only thing that it does is get, you, the bride stressed. Why do that? She will be so much better off for her OWN sake, not theirs. It really could be uncomfortable for her for A LONG TIME if she doesn't. Since she isn't spending any extra money on it and it will leave out a lot of pain, she's better off. This is just my opinion and totally from my own experience. It's not worth what she will go through later. Who knows, she may become very close to her in-laws down the road and regret that she didn't right?
