FH lost his job yesterday. Now we are faced with a tough decision. We don't know what to to do with the wedding. We are not interested in taking out a loan/asking our parents for money towards the wedding. He asked that I give him two weeks to find a new job but I honestly, in this economy don't have much faith.
So in two weeks, I may have to postpone the wedding till an indefinite time or just take a loss on the money we've invested in the wedding and move on with our lives.

oh no!!!!!!!! i am so sorry for you and your fh!! I really hope it works out and he is able to find another job so you don't have to cancel/postpone the wedding.

He's looking for administrative assistant, customer service, shipping and receiving, file clerk, mail clerk, warehouse work....really anything (excepting selling or telemarketing)
Ultimately he's trying to get into a union or a civil service type job.

I'm so sorry. I'm sure things will work out. Because of the timing/wedding planning etc, he should just take ANYTHING he can find. When the wedding is over he can always start looking again. It's only a few months away. If he doesn't find anything at all then post-poning might be best so that you can enjoy the wedding rather than stressing about $.
