need hair help

My friend who always does my hair was supposed to do my hair and the bridal party's for the wedding. She told me yesterday that she's not going to be able to take the day off and she can't do it. I live in Westchester so I don't know any hair places in Nassau. Can you girls recommend a hairdresser that will come to the hotel the day of to do our hair? We'll be in Bayville. Please let me know how much they charge for the day of and for the trial. Feel free to FM me if you don't want to post it.

Anyone? I just got a quote from Technicolors form posting on the vendor boards. Has anyone used them or heard anything about them?

nferrandi... how about having your friend do the BMs hair the night before? Yea the 'do won't be 'fresh', but you still have your friend involved. It also depends on the style the BMs will wear, too.... will it get messed up by morning, if they do them the night before?

I don't know, I'm going to a salon, but there are a bunch of vendors here other people talk about & I think they all travel.

She has been doing my hair for a while and I think if she really wanted to do it than she would. I just got the feeling she didn't want to. I can't imagine that she would make more in the salon on a Saturday than she would doing hair for my wedding. I will just have to find someone else.
