Need Hall Recommendations

Need Hall Recommendations

Do you girls know of any VFWs/Knights of Columbus/or other catering halls that are not crazy expensive that are either

near the water (preferably somewhat near the Nautical Mile)

OR near RVC?

OR near a lot of bars that wouldn't be crazy expensive to take a cab home from to valley Stream?

We are having an island themed E-party, we had a location and it got cancelled on us (I'm not even going to go into details, because I am SO angry & upset right now)

Basically, it was supposed to be in FH's yard. Now it can't be. So we're looking for a hall-we'd LOVE for it to be on or near the water, but we also want to be able to go out to bars w/ the bridal party afterwards. Any suggestions?

I'm DEVASTATED that my e-party was cancelled, so any recs would be so appreciated.

There is a KOC in Lynbrooke on Hempstead Ave and not to far from RVC. Also the VFW in Oceanside is really nice!!!

Re: Need Hall Recommendations

i had my party at a KOC in New Hyde Park.. 1000 Marcus Avenue... it's not on the water.. and i am not from long island so i do not know if it is close or not to the area you are suggesting?

i had the upstairs room.. the room is gorgeous.. not your typical knights of columbus, there are mirrors on the wall.. chandeliers .. i love it.. it is $40/person including tip and open bar.. it is a buffet... they cater from a local italian place (dont remember the name) but the food was delicious.

if you are interested i can give you more details

i really gotta upload some pics from my eparty!!

There is the Elks Lodge in Lynbrook, on Hempstead Ave.
Also St. Mary's council which is right there also. i have been to parties there and they do a nice job.

there is also the Tally ho firehouse. i dont know how interested you would be in that, but i had my engagement party there and catered in the food and it was a blast. there is a seperate stage for the dj. it was really clean. and it just worked out really well.

the tally ho firehouse is on horton ave in lynbrook. so very close to valley stream and to RVC.....
