he could just be going for those extra tests so they can cover all bases. Doesn't mean its cancer. My mom had polyps on her colon and had to have almost 3ft of her colon removed. That was about 7 years ago and shes been great ever since! All she has to do now is go for yearly colonoscopies, and so far so good...
I will pray for him Keep us updated

they are just being cautious - if they find pollyps they need to test to be sure it's not cancer.
don't worry! i hope everything is okay with your dad!

Don't panic. How old is your dad? Polyps CAN be a sign of cancerous tissue int he colon but they remove them right away. I would imagine after a certain age they want to do some more testing to make sure everything is fine. Don't worry. I am sure he is fine. Definitely don't panic until there is a reason! Hang in there!

THEY have to get a catscan to just make sure 100%...my dad was hospitalized sunday and hes still in there just to keep running more and more tests and make sure they covered everything before he gets out...this is for something more serious.
i wouldn't worry, be glad they're are being this cautious...my dad is in the D*mn hospital bc his doctors didn't do any of this and let things go unnoticed

Re: need health advice/prayers
Polyps need to be tested and most of the time are benign. My dad had benign polyps and they removed them. Try not to worry just yet. Its just procedure
It doesn't necessarily mean that, but they are taking precautions to make sure it's not cancer. I will keep him in my prayers

Aww sorry to hear that but I think that is just routine if htey find anything.. they might even biopsy the polyps which is usually routine.. but I hope there is nothing else to worry about!
