How can we get Sofia to STOP sucking her thumb!!?? We're constantly telling her to take her finger out of her mouth, only to have her put it right back in a few minutes later! (Not to mention when she's sleeping too)
How can we get her to stop???

Hmmmm...wish I could help but I have no idea. Just wanted to tell you how ADORABLE she is. For some reason she popped into my head last night...was thinking about her 'kicking' the wall

Leave her alone about it, the more you bother her the more she'll do it. She'll eventually stop on her own. My girlfriend's daughter is 5 and still ***** her thumb but only at night, it's not a big deal, and the bigger deal you make of it, the worse it will get. My daughter was still drinking her night time bottle until she was almost 4, when I brought her to the dentist, the dentist told her that she was too old for the bottle and it would hurt her teeth. That little talk from the almighty doctor scared her into stopping.

If it really starts to hurt her, she'll stop on her own. It's a soothing technique, she may just need it and I can guarantee she'll stop during the day once she's in school since she won't want the other kids to see her doing it, but she may continue in the privacy of her own home. As she gets older she may do it less and less (since more time is spent in school)n and eventually she'll forget she ever did it!
