need help

im getting married Aug 27, 2006. Im getting married @ the Eastwind in Wading River and i have no idea where i could or should go for my hair and make- up. Any ideas?

why dont you have someone come to you? that way there's less stress in your life the day of! there's a bunch of hair/makeup vendors on here that will come to you. I'm using Mya @ cosmetic artistry for hair and Oksana for makeup. You could run a post on the VHB board for availability and you'll get price quotes too! HTH!!!!

Also go to the hair vendors on here and contact them - many are willing to travel to you on the day of - for trials - you'd just have to go to them. I'm using Denise Lee Salon in Setauket!

My hair girl was recommended to me by Joseph the wedding planner at East Wind. I was totally happy with my trial and she was sooooooo nice.
Sorry I have no pics, I am a little unorganized.
She will do you hair there if you want. She charges $75 for the trial $100 the day of and $75 for bridesmaids.

i'm DEFINETLY having someone come to ME. I just wanted to be pampered on the greatest day of my life!!!! I don't want to have to be worried about driving here & driving there ....especially that there's no predicting the weather...lots of factors go into it...but i mean, to each is own - a lot of girls would prefer a salon...me personally? everyone can come to me :) (and ps...check out the makeup vendors on here - almost ALL of them travel to the location of the bride)
