Need Help

Is $100 for alterations too much to spend a simple hem and taking in the top of a BM dress?

I feel like it's a rip off.


Does anyone know a good taylor?

I am not cheap, but I feel like that is a lot of money.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Bridal alterations are so expensive...I think I'm looking @ around $250 for mine and thats just my dress!!

I'm not sure where you are but theres great taylor in Sayille, her name is Tanya. Shes resonable and has done other things for me before.

I was going to use her for this too but my dress needs major alterations (had to order a 14 for my chest but the rest of me is a 10) and I'm just more comfortable using the bridal salon thats done this a million times!

Also, ask around, ask BM's families or your parents friends, there may be a taylor in the fam that you don't know about....my friends mom altered everything for us for a previous wedding and it cost nothing!

I had an alteration cap of $190, and my BM had a cap of $100, so I don't think that is all that terrible.
