With my color scheme. At first, I wanted everything white. White rose CP's, white linens but then I said that's too boring so I said black and white. Then people said oh you should have some kind of accent color. So I picked sage green. Now I am thinking black, white, with sage green is going to look stupid on some things. My card box which For The Modern Bride is making is going to have that. What do you think would be better? White or ivory with black and sage green???? I am so bad when it comes to colors. Then for my cake topper, I was going to black, white, and sage green crystals. Would that look stupid? Please help ladies.

How about ivory and chocolate brown with sage green? It's along the same lines, but I think they would mesh better together.

i personally don't see anything wrong with that color combo, especially since you don't have to include all three colors in everything. maybe your cardbox can be just black and white, and the accent color will appear in other aspects of the color scheme. i love cymbidium orchids, for example, with the black and white theme. since it's just an accent color, doesn't need to be worked into everything.

oh, i get it. i just re-read the OP. i think it could be either. i like the way a crisp white looks against green, but it's such a subtle difference, that i think you can go with your preference on this.
i tend to think of ivory with themes that go in the brown direction as opposed to the black direction, if that makes sense.

That green is good with the black and white. Sage green is a softer green (at least that's what i think). LOL

You know I LOVE this! I think its the green color... thats not a sage green in the pics its more like a grass green. Are you going with the same green color as in the pic or the lighter sage green?

I love the color combination. I would do white. I think it looks crisper, cleaner and modern. The green is so vibrant, I think the Ivory will just dull it.

I think it will be lovely! Changed my colors a million times as well, and here is what I'm doing. I have an ivory dress, and the linens I guess will be ivory and black and my bms have black dresses and my accent color is a pale pink. I think that white looks nice, I'm just going with ivory because that's the color of my dress. I HTH!!

Hey Michele... I really like the white, black and sage combo you have. Its a very clean, modern scheme. I think ivory added in will still look pretty but it won't be quite as striking. I mean but if you look at some of your inspiration pictures theres ivory and white together, maybe you could compromise... I still really like the white, black and sage though.
