Need Help

I got qutoed 3850 for photo and video for my wedding. I need to Know if this is a good price. (Basic Package). Also what did you pay and get. I need to prove to my dad that photo is expensive and that 1000 isn't going to get me anything.

When you say basic..is that without albums and no prints?

We're paying around the same price for both. We got the basic packages with photo and video. We figured, if we wanted more, we can add on later. We went with Patken.

I think it depends on what 'basic' includes. Some packages include albums, digital proofs, etc. $1000 definitely wouldn't get you very far at all.

the basic package with our photog was 3400 which includes NO PRINTS OR ALBUMS.

We spent close to 6000 for the package we chose which include just images and one large album. We just love this guys work and figure we can print at our own time.

I would show your dad a bunch of estimates from diff photogs. FSIL got a FRIEND to do photos and it cost her 2000!!! And I wasn't a fan of the photos...looked like a FRIEND took photos.

it includes a 20 by something or other, all the proofs in an album, 30 pic magazine album, 100 STD n TY's, engagement shoot, 1 11by something n 2 8 by sometings n 3 copies of wedding video and six months after we get final album we get a high res disk with all of our photos.
