I have my little cousin who is in my bridal party.. At first I had her as flower girl but she's 9 years old .. pretty skinny and tall and just might be a little to old fo flowergirl .. more of a Junior BM although she doesnt look old enough to be a junior BM.. Its very inbetween and can go either way.. What should I do? I feel like a lot of flower girl dresses are too young lookin for her..? any suggestions?

Can you make her a junior bridesmaid? That's what we did with my 10 year old cousin. She is wearing the same dress as the bridesmaids with some alterations to make it more age appropriate.

We also had my cousin who was at that in-between age...she was 11, and is tall and thin - so we made her a jr BM with an age appropriate dress

Both of my FGs are like this, tall thin 9/10 year olds. I could have made them junior BMs, but In the end I stuck with using them as FGs. They will be wearing this dress:
The Main color will be Platinum (silver-grey) with a navy sash & bow. I figured, the colored dresses will make them look more like junior BMs, but they'll still throw flowers down the runner in the church.

My stepdaughter will be 11 by the time of the wedding and i thought that was to old for a flower girl. I've always had a vision of a flower girl being a very young girl, up to like 7.

my FH niece will be 11 in Sept when we get married,but is small for her age....will be a JM and wearing this dress. It is tough cause 9 is sorta borderline...i think flower girl dress may look too babyish...Just my opinion
I have a 10 yr old who is a FG. She's on the small side for her age but she DEF doesn't look like a Jr. BM. I feel like if they are in elementary school they are flower girls and once they hit Jr. High then it's Jr.
