NEED HELP!!!!
So I'm writing for my cousin who needs help! Her wedding is planned for June 1st 2013 on a cruise-- the ceremony and reception were going to take place on the cruise while it was still docked at the port in NY so that guests who weren't able to sail with them could still be a part of the wedding.
WELL- the cruise line just called her yesterday to tell her that the sail time has been changed (earlier) and they will not be able to have her reception while the ship is docked. She is BESIDES herself- Her SOD's, invites, everything is already done. She has 6 months to find a new venue- which is probably going to be MUCH more expensive than the cruise wedding. 17 rooms were already booked on the cruise, which now have to be cancelled.
Her whole theme was a beach wedding. Does anyone know ANY venues that are very reasonably priced?? Has anyone gotten quotes for the Atlantis Aquarium? I know it's June so it will probably be expensive... but she is soooo upset, I need to help her in any way that I can. I'm not getting married until 2014 and I would be devastated if this happened to me now- I can't imagine finding this out 6 months before... Thank you in advance for any help!!!
