NEED HELP ASAP

Can anyone tell me if you been or know someone who had or has been to a wedding at Leonards in Great Neck.

I have been between two catering halls and would like to know alittle more about the food at Leonards.

Please HELP!!!!!!!!1

i was there for a wedding last october. i know i didn't like the food at the cocktail hour (but that's just me because i'm a very picky eater) it was mostly seafood and i don't eat seafood. the rest of the food i remember being good. i had a great time at the wedding.

Let me know what you think? Im hearing mix reviews about the food some say its really good and others thinks its o.k. Im going to the food tasting on Oct 24 so then ill be able to make my choice.

I haven't been to any weddings there, but it's where my father's company has its Christmas party every year. The food is usually good - the company requests an Italian theme and that food is great, can't speak for any other food though that you might want to have.

I´m getting married there. I have never been there and so haven´t tasted the food yet. (i live in south america) but I will be there in a couple of weeks. I had my family go in. My father is Italian and he and my sister are really picky eaters. My mother isn´t picky at all and my sisters boyfriend is somewhat picky. There were certain things my sister didn´t care for and the rest she thought were good. She raved about a few of them. But there was nothing that she thought tasted bad. My father pretty much agreed. My mother loved the food and my sisters boyfriend loved the meat and overall thoguht it was really good.

Some of the things they didn´t like were more because of indiviadual rpeference. (sis boyfirend doesn´t like peppers, etc). Overall I got a good impression from their remarks and the price is good. That´s what I based my decision on.

I have been there a few times, and sometimes it is really good, and others not so much. Its a beautiful place to have a wedding, but the food was too hit or miss for me.

every time I mention Leonard's, the first thing I hear from people is that the food is awesome.

I used to bartend there. It's really nice and the food is pretty good. The only thing about it is that there are usually alot of weddings going on so if you want a more private wedding this is definitly not the place for you.

Do they offer a tasting? Thats how we decided between our 2 choices!

I was there for a Bat Mitzvah YEARS ago and everything was REALLY nice. My parents actually got married there almost 35 years ago (35 years on the 27th of this month) and my dad was TRYING to get me to look there but for me it was too many possible events at the same time but EVERYTHING is GREAT there and you know that they will do everything to make it perfect. They have been in business for YEARS so you know they have to be doing something right. I went with Jericho Terrace because it wasn't as many events at one time and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!

I booked Leonards for my wedding. After all the RH's I visited, they offered me the best price and the best deal. Also, their location in Great Neck was perfect since I have guests coming from Queens on public transportation and needed a RH that was in Long Island but reasonably accessible to Queens and Manhattan.

I went to a food tasting there recently. The food was excellent. FH and I were so stuffed we didn't even eat dinner that day. The next food tasting is on Sunday October 18th or the 24th at 12 pm, you can call them to confirm. I've had a good experience so far.
