Need Help, Car-related, ..UPDATE: I fixed it! YAY!

Okay so the other day, my key breaks in the lock of the club, took two guys and a really big drill to finally get it off yesterday. So today I go out to buy a new club, i had to go to four different hardware stores in manhattan before I could find a store that had them in stock (NYC is not car friendly but that's another vent )

Anyway so I finally get home, and to my surprise find a great parking spot in front of my apt building, so here is my drama...

I follow the directions for the new club, it says to turn the steering wheel so that the spoke is at 12 o'clock. Do that, and hear a click of the steering wheel but don't pay too much attention to it cause I'm thinking it's normal. I put the club on and get out, when I get out I realize I parked kinda crappy, so I get back in the car to re-park it and lo and behold i can't get the wheel to turn nor get the car to start. It's totally locked.. and I dont know what to do

It sounds to me like you just locked the wheel - if you tug at it a little in a left to right direction it should unlock. I've done this a few times myself.

Try to turn the steering wheel in either direction, this could require a bit of force on your part. Then try the key again.

My truck did this the other day and it annoyed the hell out of me.
