Need help choosing a song

I plan on singing a song to my FH at our reception, I just need to find the right song, any suggestions?

I wish I could sing! I think this is terrific... Do you two have a song? If you do, this would be a great choice!

That's the thing we don't really have a song and I know there are plenty of good ones but I'm drawing a blank. Everytime I think of one then something in the lyrics doesn't fit.

I don't know what type of voice you have (soprano / alto, etc..) but Get Here by Oleta Adams is a great soulful song, Head Over Feet by Alanis Morissette is a romantic song that's not really sappy, and Stay by Me off of the Diva album from Annie Lennox is beautiful with amazing lyrics...

Stay by me is an awesome song. How about 'By your side' by sade, 'thank you' by dido, 'ice cream' by sarah mclachlan (I know i just spelled her name wrong!), Hmmmmm..... I think this is all I can think of right now!

You just took the words out of my mouth -- Ice Cream is a great song. the other one I was gonna add was We Belong by Pat Benetar.

Dora- I have a soprano voice.
Thank you guys so much for your suggestions, those are good songs, I'm actually gonna try to hear that Annie Lennox song because I don't think I 've heard it before and it's not on her album that I have. Which Divas album is it? Is it the first one with Shania Twain and Celine Dion?

Dora- Is the album called Diva or is it off the Divas live album, I'm really confused because I don't remember Annie Lennox being on Divas Live.
