Hey Girls!! We just booked our wedding at the Crest Hollow Country Club!! And its soon! March 28th, 2008. So needless to say I have to get on doing everything else like yesterday!!
They recommended some vendors and I would like some advice on price ranges, experiences good and bad and any photos if possible. Or if you have used one not on this list and loved them and they are reasonably priced, that would be great too! Thanks so much for your help, its really, really appreciated!
So, here goes:
Photography: ******** Photography and Video Photography by ************** Patken Photography Sherwood Triart Photography
Dj's: EJ the DJ NYU Entertainment Elegancia Entertainment, Inc
Florists: Fleurs de Florissma Spitz and Peck Florist Flowers by Brian Party Interiors ************* Florist and Decorators Pedestals Floral Decorations
and for limos, i used regal limos (great prices and great service)

Re: Need Help Choosing vendors
Best wishes and congratulations! I looked a few of the vendors above, but didn't book them. I had my wedding at CHCC last May, though, so if you have any venue questions, please feel free to PM me. Good luck.

Re: Need Help Choosing vendors
I've read on other threads on this site that Sherwood Triart is VERY expensive...you can probably find comparable/better quality elsewhere. I've also read several not good reviews about Spitz and Peck Florists...just something to keep in mind. I would recommend searching for reviews of these vendors on this site to read about actual experiences.
I recommend my photographer: Photography by Christos ...he's not well known on this site but his work is great at a good price and he's a fun and nice guy, too! and my videographer: Bellarino Video (by the way, Bellarino sent us a Holiday card, and Phil also called us to personally wish us a Merry Christmas and happy new year!)
I also noticed that the list for recommended limos is missing Royalty Limos and Camelot Limos, both of whom usually get great reviews on this site.
Hope this helps and Good luck!!

Re: Need Help Choosing vendors
We had different vendors for all, actually:
Stacey Ilyse Photography Sir Oliver Limos Open House Country Florist Sound Choice Entertainment (we used them but were very close to chosing Tommy's Tunes)
We didn't hire a pro-videographer (had a friend do it who has a side vid business in DC), but our photographer has partners who do.
We had a fantastic experience with all of our vendors and I'd highly recommend all of them.
GL!

2 OF THE photographers i cant see what you wrote but honestly i would call all the ones you are interested in first just to see if they have your date available...that will help alot with your decision bc it will narrow your choices down.
for photography i am using angelica glass-i know on her site she said she has a few 08 dates left so not sure if she'll have your date available, others photographers: henry chan Blue daisy something in blue thomas paul
dj-i am using starlight express...ive heard amazing things about elegancia which i see is on your list...again first i would call the dj's and see which one is available for your date.
florist-i am using pedestals and love them
limos i am using royalty...heard alot of great things about all-star too

Re: Need Help Choosing vendors
Congrats Date Twin! As the other girls said, definitley call and check to see what vendors are still available for your date. For those available see who will give you the best package for price. Also check reviews for those vendors on this site.
Good luck

Re: Need Help Choosing vendors
I used Bermuda Limoscene and was really happy with them.
I'd rec. Timeless Treasures for Video (I used Angelica Glass for photog. and she was UNBELIEVABLE but likely booked already).
I'm not sure if you're planning on using a lighting co. but I used Luminous Designs (a LIW vendor) and they were great - very professional and made our room look awesome!
For florists - all I can say is I had a terrible experience with Fleurs De Florissima...you can look at my reviews for all my vendors in my knot bio (http://tinyurl.com/2aau36)
Most of my other vendors were not LI-based but would most likely travel from NY!
Good luck!
