need help choosing wedding colors!

ok heres the thing

originally we were thinking of doing a black and white wedding
now.......not so much....basically that is out

sooooooo we are starting over

less than one year to the wedding and no color scheme, no colors so i cant start looking for BM dresses, flowers, invites anything

so my only restrction are:

no yellow, no pastel, and preferably no blue

please help!!!!

maybe i didnt check off the box. please dont hold it against me.

I really love the rasberry suggestion alot.

we went looking today and tried to find something and came up with a silvery pewter color that had like a purply hint to it.

idk if you guys know what i mean......

i think i may like ur ideas better....

there is an 'issue' with black.

Well the dresses my BMs are getting are chiffon iridescent which would be really good for the look you want!!!!!!!!!! You could do a purple but that has a silver quality to it!!! I am just thinking that taffeta maybe too hot for the girls for the time of year your wedding is!!!!
