NEED HELP DECIDING ON SHOES

I need your opinion on the shoes. I was thinking of wearing pink shoes to the wedding. My colors are hot pink, ivory/white. Of course my mom thinks it is a bad idea. What do you think? I have posted some shoes Ivory, the white ones can be dyed, and a pair of pink. I don't know why I am dwelling on this.

I THINK PINK SHOES WOULD BE AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE just make sure they are the same shade as your bm's dresses!

I dont think it's a bad idea! I think it' s great... I have heard of brides wearing blue shoes... as there something blue.... why not pink!

First of all.. here is your dress and it is Absolutely gorgeous!!! I love it!!!

I think pink would be a great idea. But if you aren't sure then I would stick with ivory.

Personally, I would go with ivory ... I am a more classic bride and like everything to match, so I think ivory shoes would be more of a cohesive look. JMO. If you are more adventurous, go with pink.

I think pink shoes would be awesome! I'm still toying with the idea of dying my shoes blue, but they might be visible with my dress.

If you haven't tried on shoes yet keep in mind that the second pair is really uncomfortable. Very stiff

I love #3 though --- I always have problems with slingbacks sliding down or digging into my feet.

I am more classic and like the first 2....I think a really bold shoe is tough. I think if while you are walking down the isle if the shoes show people will be shocked to see the pink and look at your shoes rather then you!

Just to let you know:
My wedding and reception will be at the same place-Alger House in NYC. It will be a little untraditional. My daughter is the FG. I am not having BM's.
I want to try on a softer shade of pink shoes.

What if you had traditional shoes for the ceremony and then switched into pink fun shoes for the reception?

Also, I got my shoes from Sandy's http://www.sandys-shoesonline.com (where I tried on #2) and I ended up with these:

They are really comfortable because the strap part is soft on the inside. Not sure if that makes sense, but some shoes are very stiff and hard and this was more flexible. I also liked these:

I know that for me, strappy shoes begin to dig into my feet so they wouldn't have worked. I needed either a pump or a shoe with a back like mine... if you can actually wear slingbacks you will have a lot more options! Good luck

Happy to help! If you are talking about the ones I have, a different brand makes a slightly more expensive but identical looking shoe that I heard was uncomfortable. Obviously try them on in the store, but I found them soft and flexible and comfortable. If heels hurt your feet make sure to get them a little on the big side (not huge, but leave room for your feet to swell from the heat, dancing, etc).

I wanted a pair of shoes that I thought were pretty, because I plan to redye them after the wedding and wear them again.

I think you should go for whatever makes you happy and the comfy!!!
Is anyone going to really see your shoes under your dress anyways? I doubt it, therefore it really shouldnt matter if you wear neon yellow... Its what makes YOU happy!

And in saying that, Im in LOVE with the white pair... Where did you find them from?
