Need help deciding what Chinese Slippers to purchase (With Poll)
I originally wanted about 48 Chinese slippers 1/2 pink 1/2 white. The best price I can get is $1.50/piece which = $72.
The same company can also offer me: Case of 60 white slippers for $1 each ($60) Case of 72 black slippers for $1 each ($72) Case of 120 pink slippers for $1 each ($120)
It seems silly to me to buy 48 pairs in pink and white for more money.....so, what should I do???
I dont really need more than 50-60 at the MOST and I am concerned people will not wear/like all white.

Get the white ones for $1 each and put them in the wine sized organza bags. You can get those in pink. I got silver and purple ones and they were really inexpensive.

would you wear white slippers? People at work are telling me they wouldnt wear white...which is why i am hesitant.

Do you really think you need that many!! How many ppl are invited to the wedding???
I was going to do the slipper basket... but I was only going to put like 25 slippers in it.... am I an idiot??? maybe I totally misjudged.
Whats the protocal... (like there is one for slipper baskets)
Now I am curious!

Honestly, no I wouldnt wear white (now that you made me think about it) So do the black and if you still want to keep the pink and white colors do the organza bags in 1/2 pink and 1/2 white.
ETA - There are always girls on here looking for slippers. I am sure you could even sell the leftovers to a LIW bride, if not ....ebay!

Honestly...they will appreciate the gesture no matter what color they are. I got 60 all black slippers because I felt it would match what most people are wearing.
I wouldn't spend extra money on the colors unless they were really important to you.

In all honesty, at the last few weddings I went to that had them, nobody took them. My friends all still have more than half left. I think it's a cute idea and a nice gesture but a waste. So my opinion is, if you want to do it, go with the least expensive.
