Need help figuring out vendor prices for budget - please help

We are working on our budget and have no idea what the prices for flowers, photographer, videographer and limos would be. Can you post the price ranges so we have something to work with?

Thanks for the help!

Hello date twin. It would really depend on what you need.

A photographer can range from 1000-10000
Video 700-5000

It really all depends on your needs and how much you are willing to spend.

Re: Need help figuring out vendor prices for budget - please help

Before I started looking at Vendors... I set a limit for what my wedding would cost. Its just me and FH paying for it. so I took my 40K and divied it up. Other aspects were more important to me, like my HM and prhotogrpaher and hall!! And then went out and looked at vendors.
Ex) I didnt want to pay more than 20K for my hall, or 3500 for flowers. It was a helpful spreadsheet and when I booked a vendor that went below my price I got excited!! These were my categories.. and the bottom portion is what I havent booked and just an estimated cost. Actually the doves and rings, that is the true price!!

Honeymoon
Favors
Video, Montage, Album
DJ
Invitations
Hall
Limo
Flowers
Dove Release 375
Rings 2180
hair and make up 300
Church 350
Pre Kana 150
Bridal Party Gifts 1500
Rehearsal Dinner 2000
Tips 2000

Happy planning

I'm not quite sure what you're looking for. I think you need to be more specific. Do you want an overall price range for each vendor or would you like us to tell you what we are spending?

Me personally:
video= $1100
photographer= $2000
flowers= $2000
We aren't using limos but i did get a quote of $1500.

-video's can range from $500-2000 & some you can get in a package w/the photography if you use the same company for both.
-photographer $1000-5000
-flowers $500-4000

everything always depends on how much of what you want. The simpler you want things... the cheaper (sometimes).

I agree, this is great advice. I wouldnt go over 10K for my HM but others will spend more or not go over 6K. The best thing is to set a budget for yourself... Cuae price ranges can very. Flowers can be from 1500 to 100K

My flower estimate came to $3370, for 19 high centerpieces, 5 BMs & GMs, 2 corsages, and 2-3 large pieces for the entranceways and a 2-3 mantle pieces & lots of votives.

Other items:

First and foremost, prioritize what is important to you. Then shop around. There are many resources that will tell you about how much of your budget should go towards each thing but you have to personalize it first.

My order of priority--

1) Location - $115/head X 90
2) Photos- 3,000
3) Video- 1,300
4) Music- DJ for C, CH, Reception= 1,200
5) Flowers and decorations- 800 (Using candle CP's with petals)
6) Stationary- $250

Good luck! It adds up quick LOL
Don't forget
Bathroom baskets, favors, accessories, it's the little things that sneak up on ya, make sure you leave room for MISC

I haven't booked anything yet but I expect to spend around:

Reception Hall 20-30k ($150-200pp)
Flowers 3-5k
Photographer 3-6k
DJ 1-2k
Musicians 1k
Dress 2k
Hair/Makeup 500
Bridesmaid Dresses 1k
Tux Rentals 1k
Rings $500
Honeymoon $10-15k

Most of the cost is usually the venue.
