Need Help Finding A Venue

Need Help Finding A Venue

I am looking for a venue in Suffolk county that doesn't require a min amount of people (we'll have under 100), has a nice outdoor area/grounds (for pics), can do the ceremony and it would be nice but not necessary to be by or on the water and only host 1 wedding at a time.

FH and I don't have a date set in stone, we've been talking about Jan/Feb, April/May and November of 2008.

As far as price of course the cheaper the better but anything that is $100pp with everything included would be best.

Any ideas will help me out a ton!!

Watermill have all of that except the one wedding at the time, but for experience I know that you dont notice if another wedding is taking place. Also they have a room that only required a min of 50 guest.

Also, Tatched cottage is by the water and have room that only required a min of 50 guests.

Good luck

wish i could help you, but you're too specific for me! lol its good that you know what you want though.

every place i went to expected a guarantee... and the lowest we could do was 75 at each place we went to. im not sure if any places allow no guarantee.

although i didnt like it much, the larkfield manor has fairly nice grounds, but isnt by the water...im not sure about the pricing for what you want though. I also looked at the meadow club, but didnt get far enough to see the grounds.

good luck in your search!!!

Crasher here! Take a look at the Snapper Inn...they have a gorgeous outdoor pavilion for the warmer months and they hold smaller parties there. They are right on the water and do ceremonies outside if you like. They include some things like CP's and are around $90 pp for Fri/Sun...they are a little more expensive for a Saturday, I think $110 pp. Also try the Riverview, they are a Lessings place. Also right on the water and very reasonably priced. HTH!

What about the Riverview in Oakdale? Ia m not sure if they have a minimum requreiment but it is a small place so I am sure 100 or less would be doable? It is really lovely, right on the water!

I agree, definitely check out the Riverview. When we were looking, the minimum was 75 people. They were very reasonable and their package included so much, inc. centerpices. Also check out Timber Point or West Sayville Country Club, I believe in the winter months their minimums would be pretty low. Good luck!
