Need help finding dress for FMIL

FH's mom is a larger lady. Anyone know of stores that carry samples in larger sizes (like 22, 24)

We have been to Dina's in Plainview, Totally You in Bellmore, Macy's Bridal in Manhasset, David's Bridal in Carle Place and Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. We were lucky if they had 2 things she could try on. They would give her a size 10 and say 'Hold it in front of you. That's exactly how it will look on' We're both frustrated and don't know what to do.

Thanks to anyone who has any suggestions.

My mom got hers at Paradise Bridal - it was on the 50% off rack and it was in perfect condition and they have a whole room full of dresses. Might be worth calling them and asking if they carry a selection. My mom might have just gotten lucky.
