i have a close friend who is not in the wedding party but has done so much to help me with everything and i bought her a small gift basket with goodies from bath and body works to thank her. (i wanted to ask her but i felt obligated to ask another girl instead and now i am regretting it still with less than a week to go but it's such a long story) i would like to make a card with a poem for her that isn't the same as the bridesmaids ones that i have seen. any suggestions would be great.

I'm looking for the same thing! I'm in the same position as you - are you having your friend do something at the wedding at all? I was thinking maybe giving out programs, but that doesn't seem like a lot. Let me know if you find a good poem!

she has done so much in helping me with lots of stuff. She has helped me with making my wedding trivia cards for the tables, cut paper for me to make my thank you cards, went dress and bra shopping with me on many occasions and planned my bachelorette party (MOH didn't only because she is a minor) i only have one BM that is local and she has done nothing to help. hasn't gone to any of the showers except fro purcahse the cake for one of them and then for the bachelorette party she just showed up and didn't really talk to anyone, just sat in the corner by herself and then left early.
