Need help finding my dress!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can any of you help!

Ok girls I just went tonight and I found a dress I LOVE. It is an Amelia Carrara. I looked at the Eve of Milady website and can't find the dress.

I went to bridal reflections in Carle Place and met with Debbie (she was WONDERFUL I recommend her you will have a great experience)

The tag said CS4779 (if that helps) I couldn't get a picture of it though.

It was a strapless, box pleat, ball gown, with a dropped waist. It had some beading at the top and a bow with a sash with the beading on the end of the sash. It was a cathdral train. In I think dutchess satin - we looked at the tag it was 100% satin.

It was an elegant and gorgeous dress - and I want to know if anyone has this dress or a picture of it, and if anyone can tell me anything about amelia carrara.

The girls around when I was in the mirror were telling me they LOVE the dress.

I am going to look around some more of course but I think it could be the one!

I'm going to Bonaventure on Fri and maybe lilettes then Bridal reflections of Massapequa on Wed, and finally Saks, and Kleinfeld on The 31st!!!! So we shall see - but honestly my mother and I thought it was as good quality as the reem acra's I was looking at and it was only 2600 (will be close to 3000 with changes we wanted to make) so I don't feel too guilty - as I would with the reems. But I want to look around - but mom thinks that is the dress. It was SOO gorgeous.

I really LOVED the women I worked with there - she was VERY nice and really helpful - She immediately knew what would look good and what wouldn't she brought me dresses to show me see you want this and not this - and this is why -see this doesn't look as good as this - and SHE WAS sooo right everytime!! NO pressure - she told me to look around and come back if I still liked it. I could even wait until labor day to order if it was the dress I really wanted-hoping to lose a little weight before I actually order

Try e mailing Eve. I did this for my headpiece and they winded up sending me an entire catalog with the pic of my headpiece in it.

I am glad you loved it. If you were like me, the first one I tried was 'it'. Everything else I tried on did not compare to it. But it still is fun trying them on.

Thanks!!! I just emailed them hopefully they will respond. She told me I could wait until Sept to order but I don't want to find it was discontinued

Have you tried wedding channel and the knot. They have a search engine for dresses.
Edited to say: Call RK bridal also. They may have the dress cheaper.

Neither one has Amelia Carrara dresses on there.

who is the designer???

Try doing a detail search on theknot.com, maybe netbride and bridesave to see if anyone has a picture of it.

I just went into theknot.com and did a detail search of strapless and ballgown but so many came up.

Apparently they must be related to Eve of Milady b/c they are on the same website.

I am at a total loss

Unfortunately it is not on the Eve of Milady/Amalia Carrara or THe knot or the wedding channel web sites

I found that out - but I think it is like some lines have a couture, and a modern - just different names for different lines - I just want a picture I think you would like it Marcela! the girls were all like that dress looks great on you (of course it didn't fit and was pinned onto me...lol so I figure if it looks good and it doesn't fit just imagine how good it will look when I can actually zip it up

Hi! When I was interested in a dress by Amy Michelson (which I ended up buying:), I e-mailed her company directly for a picture. They didn't have it on the website b/c it was from this year's Spring line, and they still had the Winter line on their site.

She personally e-mailed me a pic, and sent me a swatch!

Hi again Christine-I just responded to this post on the 04 brides board but I wanted to tell you that Amalia Carrara is only available at Bridal Reflections and Kleinfeld. I searched high and low for my dress before I came to this realization, and as I said in my other post, Kleinfeld was much cheaper!!

My gown is also amalia carrara, got it in Kleinfelds for 500 cheaper than Bridal Reflections. But to help you a bit, try www.belles-beaus.com it isnt a new york company but they have a lot of pics of the amalia's. hope that helps.
