dubliner, those look nice! Were they originally wood? And were they easy to paint?

Betty - they were originally 'hand finished oak' - yeah right. For $2.50 I don't think so.
Spraypainting was super easy - it got into all the crevices and dried within 30 minutes (the can said 12 minutes, but I gave them 30)
