Need help from my married ladies

So I'm just wondering, when it was getting down to a few days before your weddings, were any of you really really nervous, like to the point of shaking? lol please know I'm not nervous because I don't want to get married. I'm so excited to marry FH and become Mrs. Rossi in just 4 days. I think it's all the attention that I'm nervous about. I've always been the type to blend in with the crowd and now I'm kinda forced to stand out lol I even felt that way at my shower. I'm afraid of stuttering during our vows or tripping when I walk down the aisle lol these are all the things I think of when I lay down at night. My stomach is like in a knot and I just want to be purely excited not nervous. Any suggestions? I know I probably sound crazy lol

Re: Need help from my married ladies

I've still got 10 months to go but at times, I get very nervous just thinking about it!! I'm like you - not comfortable with the spotlight, used to blending in. But my aunt, who was the same way, told me she became super calm that day. Meanwhile my very outgoing friend told me she got a severe case of nerves right before she walked down the aisle! So, maybe it has the opposite effect the day of!

Just breathe and relax. No matter if you stutter or anything else goes wrong, at the end you will be married to the man you love. That's what matters. :) Enjoy the day, it will go way too fast, don't let nerves get in the way!

Ps- tell whoever walks you down the aisle to hold on tight! Then you can't trip! :)

I wasn't really nervous about anything but during the ceremony I was really focused on what was being said, especially during our vows that I barley noticed the guests.

Honestly I hate being the center of attention and got nervous thinking about it. But the day of the wedding I was so calm and happy, the nerves just stopped.

I was nervous and the day before my wedding I couldn't sleep. It's normal to be nervous. You will be fine and everything will work out

Aww I love this. My fiance says the same thing to me when I tell him about the nerves.

Re: Need help from my married ladies

I was exactly like you. That is what I would think about at night. There wasn't anything I could do to make those thoughts go away. I was most nervous about the ceremony. I was nervous about tripping (and my dress ended up being a little too long) so I lifted it a bit when I walked (and you can see that in my pics. LOL) but like someone else said, once I got up there, I focused on DH. I knew everyone was there watching but I listened to the pastor and just looked at DH. It went by so fast and was just perfect!

Re: Need help from my married ladies

There was so much going through my mind the day of my wedding that I did not have time to worry about falling or messing anything up.
The day goes by so fast, try to stay calm and enjoy every moment.
Congratulations.

I HATE being the center of attention. Day of, it was like an overwhelming sense of calm come over me. Even during our vows, I felt like we were the only ones in the room. Same thing with our first dance. You get so immersed in the moment that it doesnt matter who is around. Its such an amazing experience. Just relax and enjoy!!

I can't like this...because I Love it.
I hope it's the same way for everyone once they get to the altar, if not while walking down the aisle. To be focused on the man you are going to marry instead of the world around you because he is your world just as you are his.
