Need help from Patchogue Bridal Suite gals!!! (UPDATED..need help)

Bea called me house and left me a message saying that my dress will be in tomorrow and to please call her cell phone. 2 problems...she didnt leave her cell phone number and when I called the manufacturer they said that the dress was never ordered!!! She better not be trying to sell me the sample!! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has her cell phone # so that I can give her a call and find out what is going on.

Here is the update:

I called Bea at home thanks to Dita531...I told her that I was confused about HOW the dress came in when I called Demetrios directly and they told me that the dress was never ordered. She told me that she ordered the dress through a company called 'market sales' and then she threw out the name 'Gown Find' which I've heard of from LIW. She said that she wasnt able to order the dress directly because Demetrios wanted her to have more of their samples and she didnt want that. So in order to order their gowns she needs to go through a 3rd party company. So she said that the dress is ready for pick up tomorrow.

I am nervous about this whole situation. I want to try the dress on and I dont know if she will let me because there is still no power. Has she let any of you try them on when you went to go pick it up??? I want to cancel the order and start fresh somewhere else, but I am bound by the contract. Is the contract void if the shop closes??? I am so confused.

Anyone have any ideas about this whole thing??

I would go down there with as many people as you can gather and with as much artificial lighing (flashlights) as you can carry. I would absolutely INSIST that I try on the dress or I would not pay off the balance.

ETA... another option is to bring a full length mirror (you can buy one for cheap at Walmart or Target) and go outside with it on... assuming it's not raining.

I agree-that is what I would do especially with all that she has put you guys thru...I would make SURE that it is what I want, what I ordered and that there isnt a singel F****** thing wrong with it!!!!

What a weird situation.

Gownfind.com is owned by Phyllis Limmer, who many brides (including myself) have used for our dresses. I just checked her site, and Phyllis does carry Demetrios dresses. So, maybe, since Bea didn't carry that designer, she contracted Phyllis to get it for her.

Of course, this is pure speculation on my part.

I would be 100% sure that the dress she shows you is EXACTLY what you want before you take it.

What happened to everything being transferred to Commack? Shouldn't they be handling everything now?
