Need help from winter brides!

I am getting married December 09 and am having trouble deciding on centerpieces. I like the branches look but I like flowers as well.. Not really sure what is in season for December and what would look nice. I am thinking high centerpieces...thats the only thing im sure about.

Hi ladies...

I love the white branches as well. What do you think of this - a mix of flowers and branches.

I just booked today, and my florist is going to set up these pretty babies for me with some pillar candles inside, and black magic rose petals and holly sprigs with berries strewn on the table:

They're on sale for $12 a set at Dillard's till tomorrow only!!!

Hi - don't know if you want to avoid too holidayish looking, but just went to FH's company holiday gala and they had tall vases filled with cranberries and branches with holly berries (? I think) and then some evergreen-looking leaves as the filler. The contents were holiday-themed, but the overall look was very dramatic and elegant.

They also surrounded the tall vase with shorter ones, also filled with cranberries and then a few red roses. And then some votives as well.

Sorry, don't have a pic :(

You can do flowers with branches, ive seen many cp's like this. I even had flowers with curly willow branches. This way you get both looks that you want.
