Andy and I met in Vegas...the second night that we hung out, he took me to dinner....i couldnt get in to the restaurant because i was wearing flip flops so he took me to a shoe store and bought me a pair of shoes.
SOO...with that being said, for the past 2 years or so, i've thought that i was going to wear those shoes for our wedding because it would be sentimental and cute!! So when I ordered my dress i told them my shoes would be less than 3 inches tall.
The more and more I think about it, the more I feel like I want to wear different shoes(maybe the Badgley shoes that i just got) Its really not me to wear little shoes.
I reached out to my bridal consultant and she said that it might be too late to change the length of my dress but would try.
Should I go with the sentimental shoes or the ones that are more me??? I NEED HELP SOON BECAUSE MY BC WOULD HAVE TO CALL MAGGIE TOMORROW.

I would say do both, but that doesnt help at all re: the length. I would wear the vegas kicks to ceremony, BM for Reception.
If you go with the BM's, I would incorparate the vegas kicks somehow though.. its so cute and such a special detail. Let me think about this.. to be cont.
ETA: and its FH not ANDY ! DUH!!

Hhahaha its so difficult right??? The Vegas shoes are like 2.5 inches and the BM's are 5 inches so its a big difference with the length of the dress. I dont want it to drag but i'd like to wear both...UGHHHh

I love the idea of wearing the vegas shoes. Its so romantic and you can use them for your something old.
Ok are you planning on changing into diff shoes for the reception bc you'll have a length prob there anyway.

I decided. Wear the vegas kicks.. it is such a special thing..Its just a great opportunity to do something meaningful without even trying! And i love Amys idea with the something old!
You can wear the BMS to your RD, Shower, Bach Party, You can cook, clean, eat, sleep, shower in them if you want to !

wear the mischka ones but take a few pics of you in the vegas shoes. Ones with you walking holding your dress up, sitting with them poking out, etc. You can totally incorporate them in pictures!

Awww I would definetly wear the Vegas shoes Kedra!! That is such a cute story!! But then again I'm a HUGE mush and rediculously sentimental lol.
It's your day and you're only gonna do it once so wear whatever shoes make you happiest.

ITA You'll only be wearing them to the ceremony, so it will only be a short time that your dress might be a little bit too long. What size heal are they anyway? What about going to a shoe maker and ask him if it's possible to get something on the bottom of the heal to add the amount of inches that you need?

Vegas!!!!! OR - you can buy new shoes maybe a half inch taller or so - that wont make much of a difference. how high are the vegas shoes?
