I was told that Gerberas are very expensive and that if I wanted to use a half dozen in a small round bubble bowl INSTEAD of the half dozen roses they had, it would be a $40 upgrade......are they really more expensive?

I used Gerbera Daisy's as centerpieces for a party I did once because they were cheaper than roses. That was in April, maybe it has something to do with the season?

I thought the whole point of gerberas is that they are cheaper than roses. Could it be a regional thing? Have you priced them through different florists?

That is BULL!
My mother owned a florist, that I worked at for years. Gerbera are cheaper, about half the price of roses! I would definately go to a different florist!

my florist said it doesn't matter I was thinking of using them cause I love them, but I didn;t.
