Need help - hair salon in Massapequa

Ladies i need help..just moved to Long Island 2 weeks ago..my cousin is getting married next saturday and I am a BM..do you know of any hair salons in the Massaepqua area? I need to make an appt asap. I passed by Lumara Salon on the way home..is that any good?

I just had my hair done for my e-pics by Erica at Lumara. Lea did my make-up. I was really happy and they were both so incredibly nice!

Place in Bellmore is called Hair Effex

They are amazing and very close to Massapequa

i once went to them for hair and make up for a wedding i attended...They did an amazing job with both

i went to Lumara for Colleen's (futuremrsmulatris) wedding and I was not thrilled...

a woman with short blond hair cut and styled my hair. then they sent me to makeup (which came out great) but they put this headband on which totally distroyed my hair. When I asked that they try and poof it back up, the girl told me 'sorry, i dont have time'

i was like .... WHAT... I just paid you X amount and you cant fix what you people messed up? So I kind of made a small scene when I went to pay, they asked me how the experience was and I said 'Ok I supposed' and the manager was like 'why only ok' blah blah blah so then they were nice. It was just annoying....

I go to top cuts in bethpage - it's just north of massapequa on hempstead tpke, near an AC moore. I go to the owner, chris, and have been going to her for 10 years. love her and the whole place. she is doing my hair for my wedding, did my hair for my sister's in which I was the MOH, and for several other weddings too. super affordable and very good. 516-579-8866.
