Need Help, Hotel Baskets, Advice Please!
Re: Need Help, Hotel Baskets, Advice Please!
Yes I would. I am sure the hotel would either give them out when people check in or leave them in the rooms for them as long as you make arrangements before. I would do this esp. because if some of you guests talk and comment on how cute your baskets were and those staying at the other hotel didn't get them......

Do it. It is important for the out-of-towners to feel exra appreciated for attending your day! If the hotel has a concierge it is their job to deliver things to guests.

This is something I hadn't even thought about. I have some family members that do not want to stay in the 'fancy' hotel I booked. (It's a Radisson!) So they will be staying in an EconoLodge. Do you think they even have someone that I could give the baskets to there?
Re: Need Help, Hotel Baskets, Advice Please!
I bet these less expensive hotels would give the baskets for you.

Helene - they probably do, but I would call just to check!
Re: Need Help, Hotel Baskets, Advice Please!
I would make hotel baskets for all the guests. It is a nice touch. JMO.

I would definitly give them baskets. I don't think the Holiday Inn would have a problem handing them out. Just make sure your guests got them in the end.

I agree that ALL out of town guests should get the baskets/bags etc. They all took the time and energy, as well as the expense to travel here for your wedding, the least you could do is make sure every out of town guest received a basket.

we had a mix-up at my cousin's wedding and made reservations the day of - we brought gift baskets over and they were fine about it - just insisted that they hold them at the front desk rather than let us put them in the room
