So Im having some problems booking a photographer. I went to 12th night the other night and wasn't that impressed- the girl i talked to keep telling me that i need to take pics with my FH before the ceremony-even though i told her that i didnt want to and i booked an hour and 1/2 cocktail hr. for that reason. I guess i was just annoyed by that. But my real problem is trying to find a package with albums/parent albums for under $2500. Does anybody have any price quotes for their photographers?? I have been looking at these photographers as well but need some quotes: Thomas Paul Fullview Studios Photography in Style Taylor Studis Ray O'Connor Fredrick Studios Thanks Girls!

I went with Thomas Paul...I think his package was great. I'm getting everything I need but paying more than you would like.
I'm sure he can customize it to your liking. Since it is his own business it would be easier to work with him than a large company.

true..albums are what makes the prices go so high..they are priced $500+ its ridiculous..i am just getting our album included and making the ones for our parents,,,, I have made online ones before for gifts and they are gorgeous!
i am a winter bride so got a great package of 2 photogs and 1 video and all the proofs, prints, cds, albums, blah blah blha for $3400

my friend in Massachusetets is using Bella photogrpahers. They have offices in NY as well. She is paying under 3K for her package and it includes albums. I'll try to find a link for you...
You should try the velvet studio. We got a great package and Bob, the owner, was really great to work with :) They also do great videography as well if you were looking for that too. http://www.thevelvetstudio.com/index2.htm

I agree your not going to get all of that for 2500 everyone I went to no one offered albums etc for that price. Just get the albums later.

ITA. I loved Velvet Studios as for they were very nice and professional to work with and my pics came out gorgeous.

I just booked with Madison Ave ( in Hicksville) - Friends used them they are so laid back and mde us feel very comfortable - they gave us a great deal for photo/video - believe me we are on a tight budget
