If I have a fraud case with a credit card company, is it a long process if I bring fraud charges against the person that used my account number.
Too little information there, but are you saying that someone else used your credit card account information to purchase things for him/herself? If so, you need to inform the police.
I found out someone got a hold of my Macy's account number. They even changed my address. They charged 1700.00 worth of stuff...that's about 800.00 over my credit limit. Macy's fraud dept knows about it. They're going to be sending me necessary paperwork that I have to fill out.. They gave me the address to what it was changed to. Once they get my paperwork, they'll send me a copy of the sales receipt.
