Need Help.. Lol

I m lost.. need help finding a ceremony place. in long island. also a reception hall.. I am looking for a not expensive place.. any ideas

well theres tons of rh's in LI. For ppl to give you choices it will help if you can give us an idea of what you would like. Some want an RH on the water, some want a place that does one wedding a time. What type of RH would you like? and around what price range per person

as far as ceremony, do you or your fh belong to any church? Some churches you have to be a member to get married there, some you can join if you are not already. Then some are lenient if you are not member but will take a lil more work to find one. And around what area? do you want it close to your home, maybe nassau or suffolk

RH is for 120ppl.. about $40pp. like we are doing this are selves. and then I am doing all the planing and finding. Do you have any type of ideas? I am sorry. this is so hard.. lol. we do not belong to a church. I am Muslim and he has no religion. so idk.. Nassau and Suffolk are find just not to far into Suffolk..

dont worry it can be done, i did all the planning myself and we paid for most of it but dont get stressed out in the beginning bc it all does fall into place.

How about getting married at the RH, since you are muslim and you say he has no religion then i would think that would be the best option for you.

I would say to try the irish coffee pub, dont let the name fool you. Will be a little higher than $40pp not alot higher but it will be hard to find it for $40pp. To help save you money, if you do it in the winter the price will be lower but january and february it will be lower, or you can do a daytime wedding or sunday wedding or do daytime sunday and that will keep the price lower at the RH. Ive seen some girls here pay a low price for rh but even then its about $55-65 per person which is pretty good. Also try leonards, dont think it would be $40pp but alot of girls on here have gotten a good price there

Hi! Like Espo said, there are so many RHs on LI that we need specifics to help you!!!! What type of RH are you looking for? Here are some things to consider:

*Do you want to be the only bride at the RH? Some RHs have several weddings at a time, some have only one.
* Nassau or Suffolk (or does it not matter)?
* Do you want to have your ceremony at the RH or separately?
* Do you have a price or budget in mind (for example, the max price per head you are willing to pay?) RHs vary a lot in price per plate.
* What type of RH are you looking for (on the water, must have beautiful gardens, must have a fireplace, must have lodging at the RH or nearby etc!!!)

ETA: Oh I read your next post...I would try Irish COffee Pub also, I went to a wedding there and the food was delicious Also you could try larger restaurants that can accomodate a larger crowd. THe lowest price per head I've seen on here is $55 pp if you can go a little bit higher....I know of one bride who paid $55 at Fox Hollow on a Sunday (if you book a Sunday or a Thursday, you will get a lower price pp than a Sat or Fri night!). FH is beautiful and the food is very good...I went to a wedding there in August!

I am willing to go up if i have to....i do want to be the only bride. either county is fine. i want to have a ceremony that has a nice view for pics. i do not want a sit down dinner. gardens or water. lodging nearby is fine.

I have heard some brides use Ariana Waterfalls on here....mainly b/c they include all vendors in your package. I think I remember them saying that it cost 11k or so for everything from food, photography, videography, dj, limos, etc.

So my fiance me my mother and mother in law went to ariana falls and we booked it...... for 9-18-09 so we pushed our wedding date back 2 weeks.. it was breath taking.... it took alot off my plate. now it is just meetings and set up.. they r have a bridal show on sunday that i will be attending. now it is just my gown his tux bm dresses and other things here and there... I want to thank u so much dedecakes it was a great idea...... thank you

OMG!!! AWESOME. NOT ONLY are we date twins...we're possibly dress twins!!!!

You can look at Rigatti Terrace in Queens. I think it's like 50 p/p and the BM seemed nice when we spoke on the phone when I was looking into RH's. Go to rigattiterrace.com. Also, I'm partial but Coral House is awesome and they aren't to expensive. I think they quoted me 66 for a Sunday in October but I had to have 10/10/10, so I didn't get that price. They are very reasonable. Good luck.
